Iceberg Sweepstakes

I went up for an early check on the fresh air and view, and saw the FIRST ICEBERG! Looking like two sails on the distant horizon, it came close enough to be declared a valid candidate for the first iceberg sweepstakes – which I won!! A lot of people hadn’t even put their votes in the time slots for first sighting because we weren’t really expecting one so soon. Not quite close enough for a good photo, but those will follow soon I am sure.

“All well onboard. A busy day for all. Alice our arts fellowship visitor who has been playing the harp on the bridge for us, won the iceberg sweep this morning when the first iceberg was spotted at 0810. A suitable reward for here efforts!”
