“At 9pm last night our resident artist, harp player Alice Giles, performed a live concert on the bridge of the Aurora as we sailed between the icebergs. Fantastic!
We are currently performing lifeboat drills and testing the Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) whilst the helicopter crew assisted by experienced expeditioners blade up the S76 helicopter ready to fly high priority cargo, mail and passengers ashore to Davis.
We expect to be at anchor tomorrow morning to commence light essential cargo operations.
